Temple of martial arts Makoto is a sports club in Ljubljana, which in translation might be called truth, honesty, or wisdom, has been operating since 1997. It was founded by the head coach and technical mentor, Hari Murat, a master of many martial arts, two times European vice-champion in the "light contact in Kickboxing" and currently the leading trainer of Jeet Kune Do (JKD) and Kickboxing. Hari began involving with martial arts since his early age of ten years. Since then, he started to practice physically and mentally. It grew to his heart and then he started devoting his life to martial arts and at the same time to personal and spiritual development which resulted from his type of sporting spirit.

From the very beginning he has been a very successful teacher in Kickboxing, because he brought many of his masters and pupils to the national championship titles. Even today, he pays particular attention to individuals who would like to become masters of martial arts or participate in competitions, both nationally or on the European or global level. In a light of his past successes, we are sure that he will continue the successful path. In recent years there has been much more attention to the training of "street self-defense" JKD technique, based on the principle of the enemies weak points of body.

In the early years of the club's history, training sessions were held at various locations. When Hari in the beginning of a new millennium felt that he wants to offer his students much more than just successful trainings, he decided to set up the club in the form of the temple, which would bring together various martial arts and styles. Makoto began building its current charismatic image of an martial arts temple in the year 2002. Since then, the area has developed a beautiful appearance and comfort with an oriental touch, where everyone feels even more relaxed and motivated to participate in individual workouts. You can learn boxing and kickboxing in a real boxing ring, which provides even a better training environment. There is also a possibility to use a small fitness center. After an intense training, members of the club can relax within the clubs premises; Sauna provides a caring way of "healthy mind in a sound body."

Furthermore in December 2006, Makoto  organized the first "Jungle Fight" in Slovenia as a mixture of different martial arts styles. In the following years, he also hosted foreign masters such as Carlos Maia of Brazil, a multiple champion and champion of Brazil and Latin America in Jiu Jitsu and European Champion in 2010. Also a guest, champion of Thailand, Whan Lee, who in his career won nearly 290 professional fights in Muay Thai, held trainings in Makoto - http://24ur.com/ekskluziv/zanimivosti/gole-pesti-sredi- ljubljane.html.

We also organize spring-summer seminars, where you can train various martial arts and make tight bonds with friends, through the process of intense team building, socialization.

It should be noted that the main motto of coach Hari is, "Be like water", which was defended by the founder of Jeet Kune Do, one of the greatest masters of martial arts Bruce Lee in the 1960’s. It emphasizes the softness of the body in motion that can not stop in the tasks we perform, either through a martial art or other separation approaches are derived by the end of the concerted action of heart, mind and spirit. So long without unnecessary interruptions that would tumble down or roll over the entire concept to reach our goal. It is effective and consistent of following what you are doing.

In addition, Master Hari as also the club Makoto itself, stands for the view that the successful development of mental and physical abilities, you need to follow the following principles: perseverance, concentration and freedom. With constant training of mind and body, focus on things that we do, we can really achieve what we set in order to feel the immense creative freedom of its inner spirit.

Our temple of martial arts is not only a synonym for effective trainings and the acquisition of physical skills, but a person who through individual knowledge and awareness of an open learning and individual approach of martial arts mastership, as well as friendship, you can gradually develop into an honorable, sincere and self-confident person. The approach is therefore holistic as it is in Makoto aims to develop a free and self-confident person, able to cope with any life situation.
