Before being joined, you would like to see training or two. Is this possible?
Of course. Anyone can try out training or two and get a true picture of how they take place and what happens on the trainings. On this basis it is easier to decide whether this is the right thing for them or not. In the upper gym where monitored sparring workouts unfold, guests get a good view from a lounge area that looks over the ring.
I am hesitating; it is still about martial arts. Will I get hurt?
Makoto is not a violent club. The mere fact that more than a third of the pupils are female is eloquent enough. Club members are friends with each other and respect each other and behave according to the rules of the club. Training is conducted using the shock gloves and shields, moreover, tend to emphasize technique rather than power punches. Despite the fact that you choose to practice martial arts, you do not have to fight. The decision whether you want to fight, and thereby raising training to a higher level, depends on you. What should I wear and what to bring with me?
Comfortable sports clothing, this allows freedom of movement and the body to breathe. Later when you progress, you get a club kimono either way. You can be barefoot or in sneakers. It is advisable to have refreshments with you.
What if for various reasons I can not attend regular workouts?
The desire of the club is to attend trainings regularly, because perseverance and discipline are the key to rapid progress. Of course it is understandable that school, company or other obligations are in the first place, so the attendance of trainings depends on you. If there is a possibility that you will not be able to attend training, just inform your coach.
Do I need a partner to practice or can I come alone?
You can come to practice alone or with friends as it suits you best.
What is the appropriate age? Am I too old, too young?
Participants are of all ages, from children (the youngest martial arts), youth, parents and the elderly (30 + recreational training). You can find any sort of training program that matching to your needs.
